- Prepare and cook traditional Ramadan sweets (Halwagi) following authentic recipes and standards
- Assist with food presentation and packaging for both dine-in and delivery orders
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to during preparation and service
- Serve guests with professionalism, demonstrating excellent guest service skills
- Handle delivery orders efficiently, maintaining timely and accurate deliveries as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised
- Take customer orders via phone or in person with courteous phone etiquette and clear communication skills
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods, especially during Ramadan peak times
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food preparation roles is highly desirable, including restaurant, hotel, or café settings
- Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
- Skills in cooking traditional or specialised cuisine, particularly sweets or desserts, are preferred
- Background in food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients is essential
- Familiarity with guest services, serving techniques, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is beneficial
- Candidates with experience in food delivery, barista work, or culinary roles will find this position well-suited to their skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required to ensure a positive guest experience during the Ramadan period
