We are excited to announce that we are looking for skilled roof tilers to join our rapidly growing business, Since 2003 Domestic Roofing (PorterVac/Royce Roofing) has been Melbourne’s leading innovator in providing the best roofing and property maintenance services, with roof repairs, restorations and gutter cleaning at the core of our business. What our candidate looks like: - Positive worker with great communication skills - 3 Years of relevant work experience (with references) within the last five years. - Has a manual driver's license (Driving our work vehicles) - Has the full right to work in Australia - Great attitude and work ethic - Willingness to learn What our ideal candidate would be carrying out: - Minor repairs to tiled roofs (changing tiles etc.) - Rebedding of ridge caps - Pointing of cement mortar using flexible pointing - Lead work - Leak Detection - Fixing of gables (inclusive of scotia and fascia at times) - Placing and securing waterproof sheets over eaves - Nailing and stapling roofing underlay; - Sizing and cutting roofing material to fit vents, edges, - Installing roofing material under pre-fabricated flashing and adhering to roof If you're looking for a positive change and ready to join a great team, you may be the person we are looking for!
