Discover Tekapo / Lake Tekapo Holiday Homes are seeking motivated Commercial Cleaners / Housekeepers to join our friendly team, servicing holiday homes in beautiful Lake Tekapo. These are long-term roles, ideal for anyone wanting stable employment in a stunning part of New Zealand. Accommodation is available. This role may be suitable for an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) applicant, subject to Immigration New Zealand approval. What we're looking for: * Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail * Ability to work efficiently and independently in a physically active role * Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team * Living locally or willingness to relocate to Lake Tekapo (accommodation available) * Physically fit and able to perform manual work * Basic English skills to understand instructions and communicate with team members * Ability to follow health and safety procedures Previous cleaning experience is an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right candidates. Key responsibilities: * Cleaning and servicing holiday homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas * Making beds and changing linen * Vacuuming, dusting, and mopping surfaces * Restocking supplies as required * Reporting maintenance issues or damages Role details: * Permanent full-time * Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week * Weekend and public holiday work required (with two rostered days off each week) * Hourly rate: $26-$28 per hour, depending on experience If you're ready to join a great team and enjoy working in one of New Zealand's most beautiful locations, we would love to hear from you.
