Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer

South Holland, Netherlands Develop your career with a market leader in advanced semiconductors Job ID: 468001 A major US semiconductor manufacturer is looking for several Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineers to help shape the direction of cutting-edge IP for complex digital-AMS ASIC solutions. You will be part of a global team tasked with the design and development of existing and brand new products. Taking a major hold in a niche market, and having a unique opportunity to work across the full flow. The desired applicant for the role of senior digital designer will have strong front end digital design knowledge, as well a broad understanding of the whole digital design flow. Requirements:

• Degree / Masters / Doctorate in electronics, micro-electronics, physics or similar related field
• Strong industry experience of challenging ASIC projects and their successful tape-out / delivery
• Front end digital design knowledge & fundamentals – RTL coding and IP development in Verilog
• Understanding of analog / mixed-signal chips or IP – ADC / DAC interfaces, PLL, DSP filters etc
• Synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), timing constraints is nice to have 
• scripting & software coding skills – python, C, system C

Bonus / “nice-to-have” skills

• DFT – scan insertion
• modelling / simulation in matlab / simulink
• DSP, signal-processing
• UVM verification – system verilog, creating test benches, assertions, formal methods
• low-power constraints, UPF
