- You will be working as a section waiter or a supervisor making sure our guests have an amazing time.
- Assisting in maintaining Hot Tamale's high standard
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Min 2 years hospitality experience in a restaurant (table service, high volume)
- Natural great customer service
- Someone who love to have make and ensure that their guests are having a great time to.
Duties Include;
- General customer service and section waitering
- Hosting - Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists.
- Setting and arranging tables.
- Taking food and beverage orders.
- Running food and beverages.
- Recommending agave spirits, cocktails and drinks to complement food.
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages.
- Conducting wine, beer, and spirit tastings.
- Clearing bars and tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen.
- Bussing tables - Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and bars.
- Cleaning and maintaining bar service areas
- Washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses.
- Taking payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and point of sale
- Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures as well as complying with store level processes and food safety program.
- Comply with relevant regulations.
- Maintain current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
- Responsible for the running of the rostered shift and assisting in the training and supervision of Food & Beverage Attendants of a lower level
- Accurately record sales and banking
- Supervision and training of employees of a lower level
- Perform administrative duties in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager (i.e. collecting invoices, carrying out and recording of food safety requirements)
- On call for emergencies and any unexpected store or staffing requirements
