- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and medical histories.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programmes, and electrotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, posture correction, and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques and best practices through continuous professional development.
Experience
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Proven experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with musculoskeletal, neurological or post-operative conditions is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
- Knowledge of current physiotherapy equipment and treatment modalities.
