- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Develop detailed reports and visualisations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to support decision-making.
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal structure and performance using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other database management systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis tasks.
- Create process diagrams and documentation using Visio to clearly communicate workflows and system architectures.
- Support project management activities by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to uncover insights that inform strategic initiatives.
Skills
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases effectively.
- Experience with database design principles and optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies for managing software projects.
- Programming skills in R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Excellent business analysis capabilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
