- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Support clients in maintaining their independence within their homes or care environments
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using company vehicles or personal transport where appropriate
- Develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status and wellbeing, ensuring any concerns are communicated effectively to relevant professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
- Promote social interaction and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary
- Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans effectively
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy, patience, and understanding towards clients’ needs
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
