Job Summary
New Line Construction LTD are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in payroll systems and human resources management within a dynamic organisation. The Payroll Specialist will play a key part in maintaining employee satisfaction through timely and precise payroll administration, supporting overall organisational operations. Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Workday, HRIS, PeopleSoft, and accounting software like QuickBooks.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of employee information, hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
  • Reconcile payroll data with accounts payable records and other financial documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and organisational policies related to payroll and human resources.
  • Prepare reports on payroll activities, analysing data for discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Collaborate with human resources to update employee records and resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Assist with year-end processes, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
  • Support internal audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and analysis.

Experience
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role within a human resources or finance environment.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, HRIS platforms, and accounting software including QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrable expertise in data entry, accounts payable processes, and financial analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation concerning payroll, taxes, and employee benefits.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience working within human resources functions is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates who are organised, analytical, and committed to accuracy in financial processing while supporting organisational compliance and employee satisfaction.

Pay: £84,420.00-£120,771.31 per yearBenefits:
