Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client, specifically we are looking for an infrastructure-focused Oracle DBA with hands-on experience across both Oracle Exadata and Cloud environments (ideally AWS and/or OCI). FinXL is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client, specifically we are looking for an infrastructure-focused Oracle DBA with hands-on experience across both Oracle Exadata and Cloud environments (ideally AWS and/or OCI). - Provide end-to-end administration for Oracle databases in complex environments.
- Own the operational stability of Oracle Exadata and RAC environments.
- Support and optimize Oracle workloads hosted within AWS and OCI.
- Execute performance tuning, proactive monitoring, and critical patching.
- Manage and test high-availability and disaster recovery processes.
- Act as a technical bridge between Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams.
- Deliver RMAN backup and recovery solutions for mission-critical systems.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as an Infrastructure-focused DBA in large environments.
- Direct, hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata hardware and software.
- Significant experience supporting Oracle platforms within AWS and/or OCI.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX administration and shell scripting for automation.
- Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and production support.
- Background in Telco, Banking, or Government sectors is highly preferred.
