Role: LLM Graduates / Law clerk / Jurisdiction Doctor Full time - Onsite - 74-09, 37th Avenue Jackson heights, NY 11372. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Compensation range: 22$ - 27$ per hour Queen-based law firm is looking for a law graduate Student with good drafting, litigation and excellent research skills. Responsibilities: Advanced Legal Research

• ​Targeted Case Law Search: Conduct deep research on Westlaw/LexisNexis to find binding and persuasive authority.
• ​Predictive Memoranda: Draft objective internal memos evaluating case strengths, risks, and probabilities of success.
• ​Strategic Analysis: Review local court rules, judge-specific preferences, and opposing counsel's past filings.

​Precision Legal Drafting

• ​Initial Pleadings: Draft complaints, answers, counterclaims, and affirmative defenses.
• ​Motion Practice: Prepare substantive motions and briefs (e.g., Motions to Dismiss, Motions for Summary Judgment).
• ​Appellate Support: Assist with appellate briefs and ensure perfect citation formatting (Bluebook compliance).

​Discovery & Fact Investigation

• ​Written Discovery: Draft and respond to Interrogatories, Requests for Production (RFPs), and Requests for Admissions (RFAs).
• ​Document Review: Analyze large-scale e-discovery for relevance, privilege, and hot-button evidence.
• ​Deposition Prep: Compile exhibit binders, fact timelines, and targeted questioning outlines for witnesses.

​Trial Prep & Courtroom Support

• ​Pre-Trial Filings: Draft motions in limine (to exclude evidence) and proposed jury instructions.
• ​Trial Organization: Maintain the master trial notebook, witness logistics, and exhibit logs.
• ​Real-Time Assistance: Support lead counsel at hearings by tracking evidence and running mid-session legal research.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or LLM with excellence in research, writing and legal drafting.
• Excellence in administrative law in analysing, researching & reviewing statutes and regulations.
• LLM degree or JDs degree will be only considered.
