Auto Dismantler, Auto Recycler, and Salvage Technician (H2B)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Auto Dismantler / Salvage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dismantling end-of-life vehicles, identifying reusable parts, and supporting recycling operations in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and adherence to environmental and safety standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dismantle vehicles using hand tools and power equipment
• Inspect and identify reusable parts such as engines, transmissions, and body components
• Remove, label, and inventory parts for resale
• Drain and properly dispose of fluids (oil, fuel, coolant) in compliance with regulations
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and other yard equipment
• Sort and separate scrap materials for recycling
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with parts tracking
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Follow all workplace safety and environmental procedures
• Assist customers with locating auto parts when needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in auto dismantling, mechanical repair, or salvage yard work
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
