Learn and Laugh is a small family-owned company with 10 centre’s around Sydney/Central Coast.We are looking for an Early Childhood Teach to work with us in our Five Dock centre. We are looking for someone who is experienced and passionate about working with children, thrives on team work and sharing best practice. This is a full-time role. Essential qualifications needed for the position are:· Early Childhood Teacher qualification (ACECQA approved)· First aid/ CPR/ Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)· Current Working with Children Check The Role · This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Your duties and responsibilities will include:· The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in this role. They will have strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards.· Plan and implement a quality program that reflects the EYLF· Develop open communication with educators, children and families· Use progressive routines throughout the day and implement indoor and outdoor programs to respond to the needs of individual children· Create indoor and outdoor learning environments that provide the children with opportunities to explore, experiment, create, take risks and play· Facilitate children's play through weaving the children's emerging interests with professional expertise· Communicated positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis· Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and mealtimes· Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development· Maintain up-to-date records for each child within the group· Respond to the emotional needs of the children· Comply with policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation and regulations· Create a stimulating, positive and aesthetically pleasing environment to support children's development· Support other educators, manage own time efficiently along with the daily routines and daily requirements of the room and children in their care.· Be extremely pro-active and use own initiative.· Have excellent English communication skills Benefits· Friendly, supporting team· Promotes and embeds positive mental health in the workplace· Opportunities for growth and development· Endless professional development training· Great work/life balancePay: $76,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
