At KGems Day Nursery Leytonstone, we will provide you with the valuable training and experience you need in order to develop your skills on the way to a career in childcare and children's education. Through our graduate programme, you will also have the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification (EYITT) in as little as 12 months, providing you with a fantastic opportunity for progression and career development. About You:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in any subject.
  • A passion for childcare/children's development.
  • A friendly and approachable individual, able to build strong relationships with both parents and children to best support and aid their children's development.
  • An empathetic, warm character, able to nurture children and support them on their journey to school.

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Manage activities effectively both indoors and outdoors
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
