Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) solutions and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/ME). The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in driving Digital Manufacturing transformation initiatives across global manufacturing operations.This role requires strong hands-on experience in DMC implementations, shopfloor manufacturing processes, manufacturing operations management, and smart factory initiatives. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders while helping define and shape the future DMC roadmap of the organization.The ideal candidate should possess strong functional consulting capabilities combined with real-time manufacturing and production execution knowledge, enabling seamless alignment between business operations and DMC platform capabilities.Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Functional SME for Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) solutions
• Lead end-to-end DMC implementation, rollout, enhancement, support, and optimization activities
• Drive Manufacturing Execution (ME/MES) transformation programs across manufacturing plants
• Work closely with shopfloor teams to understand operational pain points and translate them into scalable DMC solutions
• Design and optimize digital manufacturing processes using DMC best practices
• Define future-state DMC roadmaps aligned with Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, operations, and IT stakeholders to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions
• Support solution architecture discussions from a functional perspective
• Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, testing, validation, and user training activities
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing environments
• Ensure seamless integration between DMC, MES, ERP, and shopfloor systems
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to internal teams on DMC capabilities and manufacturing best practices
• Stay updated on emerging digital manufacturing technologies, smart factory trends, and Industry 4.0 innovations

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong functional consulting experience in Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) environments
• Proven experience in end-to-end DMC implementations and deployments
• Strong expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/ME)
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing shopfloor operations and production execution environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational execution
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable DMC functional solutions
• Experience driving digital manufacturing transformation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills
• Experience working within complex global manufacturing environments
• Ability to lead discussions with business, operations, and technical teams effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens Opcenter / Siemens Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)
• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP ME/MII, or similar MES platforms
• Exposure to Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Connected Manufacturing initiatives
• Experience in advisory, lead consultant, or solution ownership roles
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
• Experience supporting global manufacturing transformation programs
