Telecom Tower Technician/Rigger/Labourer

Job Description

• Canada-wide projects, primarily AB, SK, MB, NU
• Work on the road for 5-6 week periods
• Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
• Lift heavy loads up to 50-70 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
• Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
• Performing general ground procedures (Asset not required)
• Knowledge of general activities as required for the construction of sites (Asset not required)

Requirements:

• Valid Driver`s license, willing to travel.
• Criminal Record check required
• Valid Canadian citizenship, work visa, or LMIA required
• Standard workings hours daily 8-12 hrs, overtime provided
• Clothing and safety allowance provided by company
• Work outside, at heights or in confined spaces
• Heavy lifting, manual work and proficient use of installation tools as required
• Basic computer skills would be an advantage.
• Ability to read blueprints would be an advantage
• Willing to work outdoors and be exposed to all types of weather
• Acknowledgement of safety procedures
