Hutchinson Builders is Australia’s largest privately owned construction company, delivering a wide range of commercial, residential, civil, and infrastructure projects nationwide.The Hutchinson Builders Construction Services Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) role in Coolangatta is essentially a building-services engineering position focused on managing electrical and mechanical systems on commercial construction projects.Main job responsibilities You would typically:Coordinate electrical and mechanical services installationReview engineering drawings and specificationsManage commissioning and handover of systemsWork with subcontractors, consultants, and site teamsEnsure compliance with Australian Standards and safety requirementsSolve on-site construction and services issuesOversee testing, inspections, and defect rectificationSupport project delivery timelines and quality targetsRequired qualifications & experience Hutchies is asking for:Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringAround 5+ years experience in construction services/building servicesExperience with commercial construction projectsStrong communication and coordination skillsTier 1 or Tier 2 builder experience preferredDesign & Construct project experience desirableChartered Engineer status (or working toward it) viewed favourablyPay: From $8,300.00 per monthBenefits:
