- Milking
- Calf rearing
- Supporting animal husbandry activities such as feeding, cleaning, and health checks
- Operating farm machinery
- Assisting with general farm maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Ability
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour throughout the day
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations relevant to farming activities
- Knowledge of animal care practices is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with horticultural techniques or general farm maintenance is a plus
- Reliable, hardworking, with a positive attitude towards outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work as part of a team
