- Strategic Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive audits of organizational structures and operational workflows to identify systemic efficiencies and challenges within the retrofit lifecycle.
- Operational Optimization: Evaluate current management practices to architect customized strategies that enhance productivity, profitability, and adherence to PAS 2035 and MCS standards.
- Technical Compliance Advisory: Provide expert guidance on the integration of complex technical measures, ensuring all projects meet statutory requirements for air tightness, thermal bridging (PSI values), and ventilation.
- Leadership and Change Management: Deliver strategic advice on organizational change and leadership development to support clients in transitioning to large-scale decarbonization frameworks.
- Project Governance: Prepare detailed technical reports and high-level presentations for senior stakeholders, outlining project findings, risk-mitigation plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and training sessions for multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and corporate alignment with government-funded schemes such as SHDF, HUG, and WHP.
- Industry Intelligence: Monitor emerging management techniques and evolving environmental legislation to continuously refine and enhance the company’s consultancy offerings.
Professional Requirements and QualificationsThe successful applicant must possess a multidisciplinary background combining executive management experience with advanced technical certifications. Mandatory Technical Qualifications:
- Certified Retrofit Coordinator (Level 5): Comprehensive knowledge of the PAS 2035 framework is essential.
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) & Retrofit Assessor: Proficiency in RdSAP and technical building assessments.
- MCIOB Status: Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.
- Specialized Technical Certifications: Must hold formal qualifications in Air Tightness Testing, Heat Loss Assessment, PSI Value Calculation, and Background Ventilation assessment.
Experience and Skills:
- Industry Experience: A minimum of one year of direct experience operating within a retrofit environment is mandatory.
- Installation Oversight: Proven track record in overseeing high-value retrofit installations, including Solar PV, ASHP, and insulation measures.
- Strategic Capability: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable operational results.
- Communication: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an executive and local authority level.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Strong capability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into actionable commercial solutions.
