Job DescriptionABOUT USUnity Best Care is a registered NDIS and DVA-approved care provider based in Windsor,New South Wales. We support people with intellectual, physical, social and emotionaldisabilities across Western Sydney, delivering services that are person-centred and culturallyinclusive.THE ROLEWe are hiring a Disabilities Services Officer to support clients in accessing education,community participation, and the care they need to live as independently as possible.RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide direct support to clients across a range of disability types• Assist clients in accessing community activities, education, and services• Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with the care team• Monitor client progress, identify risks, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate service records in line with NDIS requirementsREQUIREMENTS• Minimum 1 year of experience in disability support, rehabilitation, special education,or a related field, OR a relevant qualification in disability services or community care• Understanding of person-centred and rights-based approaches to disability support• Reliable, patient, and culturally sensitive• A second language is an advantage. Our clients speak Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog,Nepali, and many other languages• Overseas applicants welcome.
