Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Construction and Utility Equipment Operator, where you will play a vital role in supporting infrastructure projects through skilled operation of heavy machinery and utility systems.   • Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, bucket trucks, and bucket operation machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks.
  • Conduct rigging and lifting operations safely using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform utility locating to identify underground cables and pipelines before excavation or construction activities.
  • Execute cabling, fiber splicing, electrical work (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical tasks with precision.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper functioning of all machinery.
  • Assist with climbing tasks and work at heights safely when required for installation or maintenance activities.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members.

Requirements
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other construction machinery.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring, cabling, fiber splicing, and electrical experience.
  • Skilled in rigging techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks.
  • Ability to perform utility locating accurately to prevent damage during excavation or installation projects.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards and procedures.
  • Physical ability to climb structures, work at heights, lift heavy materials safely, and operate equipment requiring bucket operation skills.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
