- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Develop and execute tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics rehabilitation.
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions focusing on improving mobility, strength, and function for patients of all ages—including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology cases, and post-surgical recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) management systems.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and ongoing care strategies to promote long-term wellness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Proven experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, and home health environments.
- Skilled in discharge planning, care plan development, and implementing physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and motivation during recovery processes.
- Ability to work efficiently within outpatient rehabilitation centers or hospital-based physiotherapy departments while adhering to clinical standards.
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care protocols along with home & community care practices to support diverse patient needs.
