Manufacturing Execution Engineer (Syncade MES)

About the roleJoin a high-impact engineering team supporting mission-critical manufacturing and laboratory systems within a regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on infrastructure support, system administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for operational technology and MES platforms.The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Syncade MES systems within GMP manufacturing environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide infrastructure support for manufacturing and laboratory systems including:

• Servers
• Networks
• Workstations
• Storage systems
• Client devices

Support operational systems used for:

• Process automation
• Quality Control
• Manufacturing operations
• Business analytics
• Maintain system integrity, reliability, and performance
• Troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issues
• Support commissioning activities and execute test scripts
• Author and maintain commissioning and validation documentation
• Own and manage change requests within regulated environments
• Participate in RCA and CAPA activities
• Review and revise SOPs, functional specifications, and work instructions
• Support GMP manufacturing operations and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5–10+ years of relevant systems engineering or infrastructure experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Syncade MES systems (REQUIRED)
• Experience supporting systems in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments

Experience with:

• Windows

• Cisco networking
• Experience with SQL Server environments
• Experience supporting infrastructure and high-availability systems
• Experience supporting regulated manufacturing systems and documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience with:

• Rockwell
• DeltaV
• OSIsoft PI
• Veeam
• Acronis
• Backup Exec

Experience with scripting/programming including:

• VBScript
• SQL
• .NET

Experience supporting:

• GMP environments
• Change control systems
• CAPA/RCA processes
• Experience supporting automation or QC laboratory systems

Compensation

• Estimated salary range: $140K–$150K + Bonus
• Flexibility available for highly qualified Syncade candidates
• Relocation assistance available for candidates located 50+ miles away
• Work Schedule: 100% Onsite
