Tiler / Handyman – Home Modifications & Maintenance

Company: Vital EaseVital Ease is a growing company specialising in home modifications and accessibility solutions for aged care and NDIS clients. We deliver bathroom renovations, ramps, rails, maintenance works, and accessibility upgrades that help people remain safe and independent in their homes.We are seeking an experienced and reliable Tiler / Handyman to join our team. This role offers variety and involves both tiling work and general maintenance/home modification tasks across residential projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Wall and floor tiling installations and repairs
• Tile removal, preparation, screeding and finishing works
• Silicone, grouting and waterproofing touch-ups
• Installation of grab rails, handrails and accessibility modifications
• Minor carpentry and handyman works
• Door adjustments and hardware installations
• General maintenance and repair works
• Assisting with bathroom modifications and renovation projects
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and cleanliness on site
• Communicating professionally with clients and staff

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a tiler, handyman, maintenance person or similar role
• Strong understanding of tiling methods and finishing standards
• Experience using power tools and general trade equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• White Card required
• Current Australian Driver's Licence required
• Own tools preferred
• Australian work rights required

Desirable:

• Waterproofing experience
• Experience with bathroom renovations
• Experience in NDIS, aged care or accessibility works
• Trade qualifications highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate
