  • Job title: Speech Pathologist - Clinic-Based - Paediatric Caseloads Working Hours: Full Time / Part Time available Salary: A generous base salary + super Location: Footscray Roles & Responsibilities: Our client is an allied health clinic that primarily provides assessment and intervention to clients across a range of ages. They provide a flexible and well supported work environment with a focus on peer-learning, functional therapy, evidence-based-practice and providing a functional and holistic approach to our clients. Due to the exciting growth, they are looking for a Speech Pathologist and offer exciting, flexible, and full of variety responsibilities. You would suit this role if you are looking for a position to work with paediatric clients or a combination of paediatric clients and teenagers, young adults and senior some adult clients. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for:
    • Diagnosing, assessing, and providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
    • Providing education to clients and caregivers and creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of clients (infants, children, adolescents, and adults)
    • Keeping detailed progress notes, writing assessment reports, funding reports, referral letters, and creating and reviewing goals based on the outcomes of assessment.
    • Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals with consent.
    • Participating in care-team meetings for clients as and when required.

    Essential Criteria:
    •  Valid Australian working rights
    • Current SPA registration
    • Proficient skills in complex assessment and report writing
    • Experience working within the NDIS system, desired
    • MUST have a working with children check and NDIS worker screening check
    • Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and car owner.
