Job description
BMR Health is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team. The PT will support students with physical and mobility challenges, helping them access and participate fully in their educational environment. BMR offers the following benefits for PT:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Evaluations & Assessments
Evaluate students’ gross motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, posture, and functional abilities. Determine how physical challenges impact educational performance and participation in school activities.
2. Develop & Implement IEP Goals
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and create measurable physical therapy goals and objectives. Monitor and document student progress toward goals.
3. Provide Direct Therapy Services
Deliver individual and group physical therapy sessions focused on improving mobility, coordination, endurance, and independence. Support students with transfers, positioning, and safe movement within the school setting.
4. Collaborate with School Teams
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, school psychologists, and administrators. Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding student needs and strategies for success.
5. Recommend Adaptive Equipment & Accessibility Supports
Evaluate and recommend mobility devices and adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and standers. Ensure proper use and fit of equipment and recommend environmental modifications for accessibility and safety.
6. Maintain Documentation & Compliance
Complete timely evaluation reports, progress notes, and service documentation. Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies. #IND1 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits:

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Experience working with children or in school settings preferred.
