Wall and floor tiler

Koel Construction is hiring 1 full time tiler, working hours range from 30 to 50 hours per week, work sites Auckland wide. The job primarily involves:

• Tile preparation, install, repair, finishing, and related works.
• Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
• Cutting tiles to a certain size or shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
• Decorating and protecting floors and walls using all kinds of tiles (including ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass)
• Fixing the tiles, filling gaps and applying grout before finishing off
• Assist with bathroom renovation and maintenance projects
• Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks

Successful candidates will have

• Minimum 3 years of experience, or
• fully qualified in trowel trades through qualification or professional training
• Fit and able to do physical work
• Abide by all Occupational Health and Safety requirement
• Encourage to have own basic set of tool
• The ability to work as part of a team, and oversee the quality of work and individual staff productivity
• The legal right to work in NZ

Pay: $25.00 – $25.50 per hourBenefits:
