Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialised nursing care within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
- Assist in interventional and diagnostic cardiology procedures (e.g. angiography, PCI, device implantation)
- Monitor and assess patients pre, intra, and post-procedure
- Provide clinical support to cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams throughout procedures
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and best practice standards
- Deliver patient education and discharge planning post-procedure
- Respond effectively to patient deterioration and emergency situations
About You
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Will consider VISA sponsorship
- Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, or Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ALS certification (highly regarded but not required)
