Position OverviewPrime Healthcare and Central Maine Medical Center are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a growing program in Lewiston. This opportunity offers the ability to practice within a collaborative, physician-focused environment while serving a broad regional patient population across central Maine.
ResponsibilitiesUnder indirect supervision, the Physician provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice and/or for a specified patient population.

ResponsibilitiesUnder indirect supervision, the Physician provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice and/or for a specified patient population.
- Diagnose and manage common endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolic conditions
- Provide outpatient clinic care
- Develop and implement treatment plans focused on long-term disease management
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists
- Educate patients on lifestyle modification, medication management, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree, with completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- J1/H-1B visa candidates accepted.
