I-MED Radiology Network is New Zealand's branch of Australasia's largest diagnostic imaging network, providing MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, PET/CT, mammography, and related radiology services through clinics across the North Island.An experienced sonographer (typically 5–10+ years of practice) performs advanced ultrasound examinations, works independently, mentors junior staff, and may specialize in areas such as obstetrics, vascular, musculoskeletal, or cardiac sonography. Experienced sonographers are often trusted to handle complex cases and may take on leadership or reporting responsibilities. Experienced Sonographer Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and interpret complex ultrasound examinations.Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians.Assess image quality and identify abnormal findings.Explain procedures and provide patient care during scans.Train and supervise trainee or junior sonographers.Maintain ultrasound equipment and quality assurance standards.Collaborate with radiologists, obstetricians, cardiologists, and other specialists.Participate in on-call, weekend, or emergency imaging services where required.Pay: $8,000.00 – $9,500.00 per monthBenefits:
