Integral Diagnostics New Zealand is a leading diagnostic imaging provider offering radiology services such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and nuclear medicine through a network of clinics across New Zealand, as part of the broader Integral Diagnostics group.An MRI 2IC (Second-in-Charge) or MRI Team Leader/Assistant Manager is a senior MRI leadership position that sits between MRI technologists and the MRI Manager/Modality Manager. Typical Job DescriptionAn MRI 2IC is responsible for both clinical work and leadership duties:Clinical ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced MRI examinations.Ensure image quality and patient safety.Follow MRI safety protocols and quality standards.Assist with complex cases and troubleshooting.Leadership ResponsibilitiesAct as the department lead when the MRI Manager is absent.Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and rostering.Mentor and support MRI technologists and trainees.Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.Help implement quality improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with accreditation and radiation/MRI safety requirements.Liaise with radiologists, clinicians, and hospital management.Pay: $8,500.00 – $13,500.00 per monthBenefits:
